The Hôtel Technoptic, will be opened in December 2011 after more than a year of construction work at the Technopôle de Château-Gombert in Marseille. With this construction (3 250 m2 for a cost of 7.5 M euros), a powerful lever for the creation of innovative companies in the optics photonics sector has made its entrance. Designed to be
at once a business incubator, company support centre and technological platform, with a capacity of fifty or so companies, the Hôtel Technoptic will make good a lack of facilities to offer premises for start-ups and SMEs, which have sometimes had to look elsewhere.
